Our Vision

To be a Christian community where our people draw on God’s strength to be confident, connected, contributing, life-long learners who embody the Christian Special Character of the Kura.

‘E kore hoki to aho takitoru emotu wawe. – A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.’ Ecclesiastes 4:12

Our kura have been given the special privilege of sharing our expertise and experience as a Kāhui Ako. We want to take full advantage of the opportunities this entails. Formed in 2018, KingsWay School, Westminster Christian School and Jireh Christian School have identified three progress aspirations on which we will focus:

  • Improving student outcomes of English second language learners
  • Student Wellbeing
  • Enhancing students’ use of key competencies

We believe the valuable professional development that we gain together will translate into best practice for our students. Our aim is to ensure we are always improving the learning and wellbeing of our students. Being part of the Kāhui Ako, we believe it is important that our staff model that they are lifelong learners too.
